Joanne grew up in regional NSW and moved to Newcastle to study Speech Pathology, where she fell in love with the area.

Jo is a bit of a homebody and in her spare time loves trying new recipes in the kitchen, listening to music, working on her tiny garden, playing the piano, and reading as many books as she can. She loves a good coffee and is always keen for a chat!

Jo is passionate about working closely with clients, families, and other health professionals  to achieve goals and facilitate results both in and out of the clinic. She is especially interested in supporting clients with early language development, school readiness and language and literacy, as well as working with adolescents, adults, transgender clients, and clients with neurodegenerative diseases.
